Resume, CV

I am currently an Applied Scientist in the Document Understanding team at Microsoft Bing, working on generating dense embeddings of documents using deep learning models for applications in different search verticals (web and images).

Before joining Microsoft, I was an PhD student under supervision of Dr. Kolachalama at Boston University. During my PhD study, I worked on translating state-of-the-art deep learning models to the healthcare domain in close collaboration with neurologists and radiologists. The fun part of doing multi-disciplinary research was rather problem seeking than problem solving. It had always been the main focus for me to get the right motivation and make the solution useful.
